R . Brock McMahon
Legacy Life Member - Commander - Air Force
1949-2022
Brock served 30 years in the Air Force and retired at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He spent nine years with the Air Force Thinderbirds. After the Thunderbirds assignment, Brock was chosen for a highly classified assignment in the Nevada desert to help develop the first stealth fighter aircraft, which came to be known as the F-117 Nighthawk. He was then transferred to Beale Our Force Base in 1986, and then was transferred to Rhein-Main Air Base in Germany where he spent three months in special operations and had a six-month tour in Turkey during the Gulf War.
Brock also dedicated more than 22 years as a civil servant.
He served as Post Commander for 12 years, District Commander, District Inspector, and Post Chaplain.
Brock McMahon was named Dixon Veteran of the Year for 2017
